Memorial services for Pueblo, Colorado resident and former longtime Lamar resident, Ann Deaton will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating.
Mrs. Deaton was born on February 6, 1931 at Gem, Kansas to John and Lula Sears and passed away at the Primrose Retirement Community in Pueblo on November 11, 2013 at the age of 82.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Her siblings: Milton Sears, Francis Sears, Gale Sears and Shelby Sears as well as her son-in-law Mike Herrera.
Ann is survived by her husband Don Deaton of Pueblo, her daughters; Debbie Herrera of Lamar, Brenda (Rick) Baker of Pueblo, Deidra (Doyle) Schaeffer of Greeley, CO and Barbara (Mike) Van Campen of Holly. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Bryan (Charlotte), Jason (Amber), Shane (Kelsey), Javin (Wendy), Josiah (Kamil), Jalea (Caleb), Justin, Dairay (Wayne), Dayne (Carlye) Reese, Brandi, Tyler and Preston and her great grandchildren; Rylan, Ansley, Brecklyn, Aubre, Blake, Reed, Claire, Ryker and Teagan. Also surviving is her brother Walt Sears as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
