Online Condolences | | Ann and Gary, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. God Bless you and all your family. Rex and Sheri Centner | | Audie was a sweetheart. I didn't even know her well and she made an impression on me. What a smile and great disposition. I know she will be missed but having her all those years and the memories you made, is surely a blessing for you. My thoughts are with you, Annie, and the rest of your family. Linda Springer | | What a joy Aunt Audie was to all of us. We so enjoyed visiting with her in her room at the nursing home as we took our daughters to and from Texas for college. What a role model she has always been of joy and sweetness, even as she aged. We will miss her and look forward to seeing her again when we all go home together. Much love to our cousins and their families, Jim and Annie. | | Audie was a dear and funny sister. She was 11 years older than I. She was onery and sweet at the same time and I remember us both younger. She and Merle were such wonderful role models of a committed and happy couple. Terry, Marlene, Rodney, Tommy and Ann, we know how much you miss her and we send our love to you. Aunt Bernice and Uncle Warren | | Dear Ann and Gary, So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Always difficult to loose a parent no matter what their age. I was so pleased to see you the last time I was in Lamar. Sincerely, Diana and Sam Peacock | | My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. I am proud to have known Audie and I will miss her very much. Melva Mason Our angel, Audie. How we will miss her kindness and easy-going spirit. If we could all live to be 97 years old and be as good as she was, we would certainly be blessed. Even when she was in pain she didn't complain, she just kindly ask for help. When we made a mistake, she forgave us. When we were sad or had trouble, she sympathized. We all loved Audie tooooooooooo much and will think of her every time we pass her door. Her room will always be Audie's room to us. Dana Christie Even though I have worked at The Legacy for a relatively sort time, Audie captured my heart from the beginning. Her sense of Humor and gentle smile (even when in pain) was given. I know that all of the staff loved her. Ther's a void without her, but her gentle spirit still touches us. Dee Setter My Audie Dottie. There is so much to say. She was the sweetest person I have ever met. She and her family have such big hearts. We girls loved to act goofy to make her laugh. She had the most beautiful smile. She loved to tell us storys about her kids when they were younger. She was so proud of her six children. I am going to miss her dearly. I love you, Audie Dottie. Celeste Amaya Audie was very nice. She was very nice to visit with. Marjorie Fishko I sat at the same table with Audie. We had a lot of good times remembering. I will miss visiting with her. Velma Bowman Audie was a wonderful person. She'll be missed by everyone. What I'll always remember is when the ladies from Las Animas came and sang. Audie was singing along and she had the happiest look on her face. She just loved the singing. She was always so happy. Bessie Mackey Audie has been here as long as I have (longer). From the first time I saw her to the last time, she looked as sweet as can be. She always had time to smile and laugh at us when we were silly. She was a fine dressed woman and always cared what she looked like. When I told her she was beautiful she would laugh and smile and act very modest. She was always beautiful to me. She holds a big place in my heart. I will miss her greatly. She will rest in peace knowing she was loved. We cared for her to the end and we were honored to be with her. She had the most lovely family. They are always caring for her and others and always had Audie's best interest at heart. She loved each and every one of you and trust me when I say she was very proud of you all. I will always love her as my own. My thoughts will always be with you and all your family. Jessie Sarmiento My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time Tom VanDeusen | | Dear Ann, Gary and family.........We were so saddened to hear of your loss.
