Online Condolences | | Jamie, I remember Bertie Jean as a great mentor to me in my "growing up years" at IGA. She was great not only as a supervisor but as a friend who always seemed to live by us to watch over us. We used to joke about how every time she would move the Wilsons would show up. When we lived across the street from her on East Olive then across from the Alamo at my dad's office. What a joy she was. May God really give you peace during this time. Pam Gumina | Subject: Bertie Jean Hall Betty, Mary, and Jamie - So sorry to hear of your loss of "Sis". I remember going to her house many times in junior high and high school. She was such a sweetheart. I know you will miss her. I know how much she thought of all of you - you were her kids too! Thinking of you as always. Love, Karen Harper |
