Darrell Pedersen

A Celebration of Life for longtime Brandon resident Darrell Pedersen was held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Interment followed at the Fairmount Cemetery under the auspices of the Lamar VFW, St. George Creaghe, Jr., Post #3621 and the American Legion Post # 71.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Darrell was born August 17, 1925 in Great Bend, Kansas to Axle Jewel and Elsie (Kirkpatrick) Pedersen and passed away on March 13, 2009 at home in Brandon, Colorado with his family by his side at the age of 83 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Mary Lee Van Buskirk.

Darrell is survived by his wife; Edna Pedersen of the family home in Brandon, children; JoNell (Don) Lening of Lamar, David Henning of Chapel, Nebraska, and Greg (Nancy) Henning of White Fish, Montana. He is also survived by his 11 Grandchildren, and 18 Great-Grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends Church in Chivington, Colorado direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
