Mary L. James

          A graveside, Rite of Committal will be held at Fairmount Cemetery for former longtime Lamar resident, currently of Dallas, TX, Mary L. James, Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Charlie Sena of St. Frances De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church officiating.

          Visitation for Ms. James will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

          Ms. James was born on December 16, 1915 at Lamar, Colorado to Gottlob and Catherine (Kiniry) Idler and passed away on May 2, 2009 at the Grand Prairie Healthcare Center in Grand Prairie, Texas at the age of 93.

          She is preceded in death by her husband, David O. James, parents, a sisters, Alice George and Ellen Bear and her brother, Leo Idler.

          Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay Martin of Garland, TX; two sons, Donald (Diana) James of Heyburn, Idaho and Wayne (Vickie) James of Irving, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her brothers; Bob Idler of Lamar and Basil (Edie) Idler of Kaneohe, HI

          Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of choice in care of the funeral home office.

          Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
