Irene Ison I worked at Lamar IGA many years ago. Irene worked in produce and I worked in the meat department. She always had a smile and it was a joy to know her. I was lucky enough to see her about 2 years ago at the Lady Bug beauty shop. We talked about the "Old Days" She still called me "Henke".
Leon and Patty~ My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your family for the loss of Irene. Irene was a strong lady as well as a strong minded lady. She was always making her statement @ the doctor's office CLEAR!! She finished each statement with "and that's the way the cookie crumbles." Please find peace with the strength of the lord that Irene is now resting at home. Patricia LaTour (Dr. Benton's)
Irene Ison----I just want you to know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts. Irene was a very strong willed lady and I felt we made a connection throughout the years. She will be greatly missed. Kimberly Burgess
Irene Ison--Patty and Leon, God bless you during this dificult time. Irene always had a smile on her face, and a determination that I have not seen in anyone else. I always enjoyed her jokes too. Sheila McTaggart
