Glenn Getman
A graveside service for longtime Kit Carson resident, Glenn Getman will be held 1:00 PM, February 18, 2008 at the Kit Carson Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be under the auspices of the Kit Carson V.F.W. Post #3411.
The casket will be open prior to the graveside service.
Glenn Getman was born September 15, 1909 in Mankato, Kansas to Ervin and Grace (Nelson) Getman and passed away on February 13, 2008 at Prowers Medical Center in
Lamar, Colorado at the age of 98 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Grace Getman, brothers Frank, Guy and Harry Getman; sisters Edna White, Agnes White and Hattie Long; nephews Ivan Getman, Norman White, and Gerald Getman; and nieces Norma Blooding, Eileen Jones and Ervina White.
Glenn is survived by his nephews Ronald (Shirley) White of Kit Carson, Vern and (Elsiemae) White of Kit Carson, Larry White of Cibolo, Texas, and Roy Getman of Kit Carson; nieces Wanda White of Florida, and Marilyn White of Kit Carson; He is also survived by other nieces and nephews as well as many friends and family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kit Carson Museum direct or in care of the funeral home office.
