We were never really close but I do remember her well in my mind. She was a very kind person. I send my sympathies to her family and friends. This is a very difficult time for all. May the Lord give you all strength and peace. Barbara(Shellberg)Harris | | I was sadden to hear that Betsy had passed away. Just a few weeks ago, while I was at Wal-Mart, checking out, Betsy, and Nyleca, and I were talking about getting together for some ice tea, and talk about the good ole days of being in school. Now I will never get that chance. Her family and friends will always be in my thoughts and prayers throughout this time. Sincerly, Susan (Harrington) Holmlund | | Dearest Betsy I was saddened to hear that you made your transition but know that you are at peace. I so remember you as the little blond girl that always had a smile on your face and a happy air about you. How proud I was to have you call me "Uncle". Some fond times of you playing with Terri and Linda and going off to school and girls scouts and all the thing that little girls find to love in life. You will always be with me. Lots of Love. Uncle Mike | | I am truly sorry that Betsy has passed on. She was such a joy to talk with. Such a sincere person and a true people person. She loved everyone who walked up to the service desk. Always asking the right questions and what a memory she had. I will truly miss her sincere smile. A real genuine friend in our school years. My condolences to her family. My heart aches for you. The Lord called on her and she will still do great deeds for him. Betsy....I will miss you, God Bless. Mary DeLaVirgen | | I have had the distinct pleasure of having Betsy as a part of my life for the past 40+ years. She knew many of my "secrets" that I would rather my children didn't know and she would jokingly tell them she would be happy to share. She has been such a fixture here in our community that there will be a huge void. My heart aches for her family and as I am writing this I realize that her family is much larger than any of us realize. I thank God for her and the time I was allowed to share with her. Thank goodness there are people in the world like Betsy. She will be greatly missed. Tammy Sinka | | Betsy and I were often confused for each other and about 2 months ago the kids at the High School told my *15 year old "we all know your Mom she works at Thriftway in the booth." I shared this with Betsy and we had quite a good time laughing about it. After that, she would ask about "her son" and he and Betsy became very good friends. It was shocking for us to learn of her passing and you and your family are in our Thoughts and Prayers, Betsy will be missed. Steve "Tiny",Christy,*Zackary and Sid Johnson | It is hard to believe Betsy is gone. She was such a good friend to our family. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Gary & Verna Henson |
