Faye R. Foster
A Service of Celebration for longtime Baca County and Lamar resident, Faye R. Foster will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Lamar United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Peacock Chapel.
Faye was born on February 25, 1923 at Satanta, Kansas to Robert Young and Ella (Chapman) Harlow and passed away on September 16, 2008 at the Porter Adventist Hospital at Denver. She was 85.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Foster; parents, grandson; Jon Gregory, and son-in-law Don Rohlman.
Faye is survived by her children; Sherry (Mike) Gregory of Marysville, Kansas, Linda Rohlman of Lamar, Vickie (Robert) Haugen of Littleton, and Don (Melanie) Foster of Holly as well as her grandchildren; Ryan (Lisa) Rohlman, Shilo Rohlman, Ashley and Brittany Haugen, Linsey (Shane) Bishop, Morgan (Marlene) Foster and Mallory Foster. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Avery Rae, Andrew and William Rohlman and Axton Bishop, two brothers; Oliver (Zona) Harlow of Satana, KS, Austin Harlow of Wichita, KS a sister Fern Williams of Kingman, KS as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
