Thelma M. Drumright

An evening Service of Celebration for longtime Lamar area resident, Thelma M. Drumright was held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Dave Davis of the Lamar First Baptist Church officiating. A graveside service was held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo, CO.
Mrs. Drumright was born on October 25, 1914 at Ft. Wayne, Indiana to John D. and Eunice B. (Baker) Buswell and passed away Juniper Village in Lamar on February 20, 2010 at the age of 95 with her family by her side.
Thelma is preceded in death by her husband Herbert H. Drumright, parents, great grandson, Austin Peterson and her brothers; John D. Jr. and Maurice G. “Bud” Buswell.
She is survived by her daughter Joan (Jim) Peterson of Lamar, grandchildren; Monty (Beth) Peterson of Castle Rock, CO, Ron (Lori) Peterson of Lamar, Lori (David) Payne also of Lamar. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Blake, Bryce, Brianna, Lani, Hannah, Dusty, Abby, Ashley, Ross, Nick and Brecken a well as her great great grandchildren; Madison, Riley, Evan and Rowan. Nikki Mauch, Dreama Eaton and Shannon McBee also survive.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice or to Juniper Village at Lamar either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
