Grandpa Sam Chavira-Well where do i begin...its taken me awhile to get on here but....Well i miss you,i miss you so much more than words can say. I wish i had just one minute to hug you and tell you i love you and thank you for everything, and i hope your proud of me. I know i never told you but thats all i ever wanted , was for you to be proud of me and thank you for being so loving to me, i know people felt bad for me when they found out that i didnt have my dad growing up but i did have the best dad. You and grandma did everything for me and isaac, everything to make us happy , and you always made sure that we were safe, warm,healthy and i wish that i could have done something to help you when you were sick. Today is the first time that weve came down to visit since i lost you, i didnt want to face the reality that you are gone,because in springs i can just imagine that your in your house and your ok working on the yard or making something. I also didnt want to see the house that i grew up in and know that i couldnt just walk in and see you standing there, that house where i spent the best years, the most carefree years of my life , in a way its gone ....uncle ray lives there now and its not the same. I wish you could have stayed longer and i wish you didnt have to go but god has his reasons and "i am not skilled to understand." but i know your not suffering anymore and now your in heaven with grandma, you told her to make a place for you and she was done with that place and wanted you to go be with her. You always took care of all of us and i know that your watching over us and watching the broncos lose all the preseason games and grandmas telling you, " those broncos are no good."  My wife,Pauline and I are so sad we could not make the funeral. I loved my Uncle Sammy and will always have great memories of him, for all of my life. I always remember our parents got togeather all of the time. I will greatly miss my Uncle Sammy and Aunt Mary.Love you all my cousins!!!!!!

 Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to the family. Sammie was a very good man and was always giving of himself to others and at times putting his own needs to aside. These are some of the things I learned from my husband who shared many visits with Sammie. After a visit my husband would come home telling me all about their conversation and how he admired Sammie and had such a deep respect for him.
May you all find comfort in the Lords promise of everlasting life and may you be comforted knowing your loved one has been reunited with his Love of many years.
