Alfred J. Neuhold
A Celebration of Life for lifelong Lamar resident Alfred J. Neuhold was held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Interment followed at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Alfred was born on October 10, 1939 in Lamar, Colorado to Fred A. and Cleo Bell (Lawrence) Neuhold and passed away on October 1, 2009 at Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Kristi Neuhold.
Alfred is survived by his wife; Joyce A. Neuhold of the family home in Lamar, children; Gina (Floyd) Gallegos of Pueblo, CO, Myra (Brian) Simpson of Trinidad, CO, Laura (Cary) Falling, and Kris (Patti) Neuhold all of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren; Mark (Nikki) Montelongo, Abel Montelongo, Zak Gallegos, KC Gallegos, Travis Simpson, Christina Simpson, Lane Simpson, Emma Falling, Alfred Wilson Falling and Brigham Neuhold. He is also survived by his brothers; Fred (Doris) Neuhold, Dan (Vickie) Neuhold, Joe (Linda) Neuhold and Henry (Cindy) Neuhold, sisters; Helen Rowe and Alice Pomroy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Neurological Institute, Zambia Mission Fund and/or Lamar Area Hospice through the funeral home office.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.

Al was one of my favorite patients from the lab. No matter how much pain he was in he would always smile and was very thankful that I could go out to his van and take his blood.
