Peter Andrew “Andy” Ledesma
A Celebration of Life for Colorado Springs resident, Peter Andrew “Andy” Ledesma was held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Swan Law Funeral Home with Pastor Darin Ronde officiating of The Pikes Peak Christian Church. A graveside services with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Lamar VFW, Post #3621 and the American Legion Post #71 was held at Fairmount Cemetery on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:00AM with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Visitation in Colorado Springs was held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at Swan Law Funeral Home and in Lamar on Thursday, May 5, 2010 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Andy was born on August 3, 1953 at Lamar, Colorado to Pete S. and Monica Ledesma and passed away on April 29, 2010 at the age of 56.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Angela (Alba) Ledesma, his parents, sisters; Ruby Kusha, Sylvia Chavarria, and Christina Payne, brother; Daniel O. Ledesma, grandmother; Lupe Armendarez, father and mother-in-law; Zacarias and Delores Alba and a great-nephew; Michael Marston.
Andy is survived by his siblings; Helen (Ben) Bachicha, Lydia Ozwald, James (Eva) Ledesma, Andres (Lupe) Ledesma all of Denver, Connie (Tom) Stone of Arizona, Richard (Naomi) Ledesma and Tom (Dean) Ledesma of Grand Junction, sister-in-law; Elizabeth (James) Linclau of Fort Collins, brother-in-law; Jerry Chavarria of Lamar, aunts; Nellie Saldana and Ramona (Wayne) Stubblefield. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Brian (Marisa) Snyder, Jennifer (Robbie) McBee, Lisa (Mike) Zamoar, Bo James Payne, Monica (Rob) Ledesma-Sanchez, Angelic (Brad) Stonerock, Camillie Chavarria, Vincent Chavarria, Chelsey Linclau, Lauren Linclau, Stevie Garcia and Deana (Phillip) Marston, numerous other family and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation and/or the American Cancer Society either direct or in care of the funeral home.
