A combined Memorial Service for Burton Lee Hagaman and his wife Mary Hagaman was held at 1:00PM, on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor John Morrison of the Lamar Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Hagaman was born on May 1, 1922 at Kansas City , Missouri to Ernest L. and Nettie Maude (Barnard) Hagaman and passed away on July 28, 2010 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care center in Pueblo , Colorado with his family by his side at the age of 88.
Burton is preceded in death by his wife; Mary, his parents and step-brother; Bob Hagaman.
He is survived by his children; Donald (Ethie) Hagaman of Pueblo West, Ernie ( Sandy ) Hagaman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, grandchildren; Mitchell, Andrea, Casey, Billie Ann and Shane, and great-grandchildren; Coy, Cody, Bryan and T.J. He is also survived by other family and friends.
Burial of the ashes with full military honors will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in the Veteran's Section following the chapel service, under the auspices of the Lamar VFW Post #3621 and the American Legion Post #71.
Mary Hagaman was born on February 10, 1939 in Guymon , Oklahoma to Wesley and Hazel (Heath) Hobson and passed away on November 23, 2007 in Pueblo , Colorado .
Mary is preceded in death by her son; Terry Behne, her parents, and sister; Hazel Lou.
She is survived by her children; Arthur Lee Behne, Jr., of Arapahoe, Oklahoma, Daniel (Jayne) Behne of Norman, Oklahoma, and David Behne of Virginia Beach, Virginia, sisters; Catherine Harper of Liberal, Kansas, Terry Clark of Aurora, Bobbie Ferris of Aurora, and Jo Dell (Butch) Tigrett of Texas, brothers; Jeff (Sue) Ellard of Strurgarett, Arkansas and Harvey (Charlotte) Carter of Georgetown, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care Center either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

I have some wonderful memories of all the fun and joking that went on with Bert when he worked at LCC. He was a wonderful guy, a gentleman, and he will be missed. I will keep you in my thoughts during this sad time.

To Burt and Mary's families, I am sorry for your loss. It was always a pleasure to see Burt come into where I work.
